Can I plug in a new SSD(with Windows) into a previously overclocked machine and install Windows? Or, do I need to reset the overclocking beforhand, and if so; how would I do that?

P.s. I don't know if the previous owner overclocked it or not
P.p.s. There was an unauthorised version of Windows on the HDD,
but I want to install a genuine version OS anew on an SSD.

Solution
So you don't need to buy Windows initially, you can download/install windows via the link above and skip the part where it asks for a key. You can then buy Windows via there site.

Haha, this is what happens sometimes when you buy things online I guess.
Thanks alot for your answers!
Oh by the way, do I need to connect the ssd to my other PC to put the Windows ISO on there, or can I just put it on a usb?

Oh, and..!
I was gonna buy a windows licence,
do I not need to do that(i.e. can I just use the link you provided instead)?

Sorry if I'm asking "stupid" questions, it's my first time building a PC.
Thought I'd start out with something older in case I mess up, haha.
