Solution
Uninstall the drivers using DDU in safe mode and when it restarts you can re-install the drivers. If this does not solve the issue, then the issue may be with the drivers themselves from NVIDIA. They might have a bug going on these past late updates but I'm not sure about it.

The cause of this problem is the Nvidia driver used in the Kernel mode section is unresponsive, since driver files are separated among the User and Kernel mode this would be the reason for a BSOD, because it is a critical system error not an application error.

I have been dealing with this problem on 4 separate systems with different video cards including GTX 960,970 and 1050TI, all have same DPC watchdog violation. I tried clean operating installations on them...

Please go to C/Windows/Minidump and upload some .dmp files so we can have a look at them.

If the folder is empty, you want enable BSOD logging. This page has instructions: http://mywindowshub.com/how-to-configure-windows-10-to-create-dump-files-on-bsod/ then select small memory dump and wait for another BSOD.

Had a look it your log with my kernel debugger. Your nVIDIA display driver appears to be getting stuck in execution. Uninstall your nVIDIA display drivers in safe mode using display driver uninstaller. Reboot and then when it boots into normal Windows, go download and install your latest nVIDIA drivers.

Display Driver Uninstalled is a program you have to download. Can be found at https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

It the best program for uninstalling display drivers and cleaning up. It only works properly in safe mode also which is accessed through advanced startup options in Windows 8. If you use it in normal Windows it may not work properly. It does a better job than Windows "add and remove programs".

Having the latest drivers doesn't mean you do not have driver problems. You could have remnants of old drivers or corrupted drivers. I've seen many graphics cards crash with updated drivers.

I have been dealing with this problem on 4 separate systems with different video cards including GTX 960,970 and 1050TI, all have same DPC watchdog violation. I tried clean operating installations on them, SFC checks just in case, Malware scans, disabling audio devices, and the only thing that seemed to work was to avoid downloading the Nvidia drivers from Nvidia for now. Instead I allowed Windows Update to install the latest driver from 2017, version 23.21.13.8813.

I have had the four systems now running for 3 days straight playing movies all day and playing games on them as much as possible and not one has crashed. I'm still working on a reason why exactly this happening myself, I work as an IT so I have the time to do it. Keep me updated if you find something.
