As the title states, I'm building a new computer or upgrading my current and I'm looking to optimize. I currently run a dual monitor setup on a single gtx970
CPU: i5 6500
Motherboard: Asus z170-AR
Ram: 2x8gb ddr4 2133
SSD/HDD: 250gb SSD, 1TB HDD
GPU: GTX970
PSU: 800w EVGA
OS: Windows 10 Pro
I stream and play new games. I have a budget of ~$1500. What should I be looking to get? Thanks for any help in advance.

Can you please list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

I'd suggest getting an SSD if you don't have one. You're on a locked i5 Skylake processor part while you have DDR4-2133MHz rams and yet you are on a Z170 chipset. You should drop onto an i5-6600K/i7-6700K, DDR4-3200MHz rams and a GTX 1070. If your PSU isn't reliable, I'd suggest upping that as well.

You'll pay almost double the retail price for a new gfx card right now. If you can find one. Unfortunately, this is a horrible time to buy a new gfx card unless cost is no object. (RAM is another over-priced item at the moment. The same RAM I bought for $100 a few months ago is now at $190)

Do you think I should just upgrade my processor, and hold of on other upgrades?
