hello i have a gtx 970 and i was wondering if i am pushing my dvi cable into the dvi slot in my graphic card with a strong force i mean a push to make sure that the cable has entered correctly not part of it so i double checked the cable by giving it a small force to enter it and it was entered correctly but i just want to make sure that it is entered to the maximum as it said so will this make any damage to my gtx or pc and thank you.
is pushing with small force the cable into the dvi slot of my graphic card bad?

Pushing with up to 2-5 pounds of force should be all that is needed. Anything more indicates misalignment or obstruction. As long as the cable fits, it should be connecting.
hello my friend thank you for your reply but as i said everything is aligned correctly and the cable is fitting in the right place and is connected correctly but in order to tell myself that it is very well connected and fitted i have pushed it with some force not too much and too low with a medium force like pushing it to see if it will enter more so that i can be comfortable with the cable fitting nicely in the slot so i want a simple answer by yes or no will pushing the cable into the dvi slot of my gtx bad and can damage my card and thank you
