very high cpu temps i5 7500?

I have noticed that i have been geting less performance in games and in general then i noticed my super high 80-90c cpu temps and 100c IN BIOS idle temp is 70 temps in games are like 90 to 100
just took off all of thermal paste and applied new paste idk what to do please help

- Did you use a pea sized amount of paste in a vertical line on the CPU? Too much paste acts as an insulator.

- Did you clean all the old paste off with isoprobyl alcohol and a lint free cloth? Old paste or contamination can affect temps as well. The CPU can should be shiny enough to see the letters. Coffee filters are good for this.

- Are your CPU and case fans spinning and free of dust?

- Is your cooler properly mounted and your CPU fan in the correct CPU_FAN header on the motherboard?

Fixed. CPU cooler was not mounted correctly as it has a broken standoff have it makeshift mounted with some zip ties back to 40c temps!!! geting hyper 212 evo cooler will be here in 2 days
