So I have just bought a 1050 Ti msi dual fan gaming X, one with the 6 pin. I first bought it, but I would eventually upgrade my mobo and cpu, but for now, I want to use it with what I have, The question is, can I put it to my mobo which is f1a55-m lk r2.0 with AMD A4-3400 CPU.

Solution

It's to do with bandwidth, the 3.0 slot has way more bandwidth than 2.0, but 2.0 will still be fine.

In my video card box it says here 3.0 PCIE but when I searched about the motherboard, why does it say "PCI Express™ 2.0 x 16"

Only 2.0? What does the numbers really mean?

And yes, I will be using a corsair VS450 and soon will upgrade the mobo with g4600 cpu and 8gb of ram

It's for max bandwith but don't worry about it even a 1080ti doesn't saturate a 2.0 port. Also amd is launching their new ryzen lineup soon so maybe get that since they will be better than a g4600 for the same price.

it has to do with the amount of information it can handle going back and forth between the gpu and motherboard

2.0 x16 is plenty for the vast majority of gpu's out right now

g4600? that is a dead platform, try to get at the bare minimum a ryzen 1200 setup or better yet a i3 8100 setup

Don't have the money to do so. But yes I'll try. And BTW if ever, is a corsair VS450W enough for that ryzen 3 1200 with my gtx 1050 Ti Gaming X?

For that setup it's good enough. Do note that soon amd is launching their zen+ cpu's which have even cheaper quadcore ryzens and for the same money as a 1200 you can get a 4c/8t cpu then.
