I don’t know your local prices. But with 6 cores plus the ability to overclock. Can make a big difference in CPU intensive games. It also makes better long term fiscal sense. Since you would likely get an extra two or three years of useful life out of a z370 chipset and 8600k cpu.

If cost is a concern. Get a good B350 chipset Motherboard and AMD Ryzen 1600. Then overclock it. It includes a heat sink. Which works well for minor overclocking. So, you can skip buying one. The MSI Tomahawk B350 and Gigabyte GA-AB350 Gaming 3 are decent.

If you are willing to wait. Wait for Ryzen 2 or the Intel B360 chipset. Hopefully, by then, the GPU shortage and price inflation will have abated.

As you can’t overclock the 7600k with that...

i dont understand what you mean :/ "legit seller?"

7600k but no z series motherboard thus spending more for the main feature you cannot use on your cpu.

At least get an 8400 + z370, ryzen 1600 + b350 and a 2x4kit of 2666mhz ram or i5 7600k + z series board.

Legitimate

I see no reviews for the seller. The card has no reviews. So, it was likely a scam listing. Which is why I removed it.

If you can. I would get a Core i5-8600k CPU and a Z370 chipset Motherboard. They are a major improvement.

Also, buy your RAM in matched pairs not single modules.

The Hyper 212 is outdated for modern CPU. It can have hotspots due to the baseplate design. Get a Cryorig H7. It uses a solid nickel coated copper baseplate.

While the Seasonic S12 is decent. It is a bit outdated. Look at a Seasonic Focus Plus. Corsair RMx or EVGA G2/G3. If you can afford it. They are much better quality units. 550w is fine.

As you can’t overclock the 7600k with that Motherboard. An Intel i5-8400 and Z370 would be a better buy. Plus you can skip buying an aftermarket heat sink. As one is included with the 8400.
