So it looks like the most recent Windows update has messed up my desktop PC. I am now getting a "Not Connected - No Connections Are Available" message when I hover over the connection status in the lower right of the desktop. After running the network connection troubleshooting it looked like I had a bad network adapter card, so I bought a new TP Link Archer T6E. After installing it and downloading drivers I'm having the same problem. I temporarily disabled my AVG firewall to see if that was the problem, it didn't help. What should I try next?

Other useful info:
PC is a build, MOBO is an Asus M5A99FX. Running Windows 10 Pro
edit: I can connect with an ethernet cable if I carry the machine downstairs.

Thanks!
