Hi, Guys.
I'm currently using a really old gpu i.e., Zotac Nvidia Gt 210 1gb ddr3, and i love playing heavy high resolution games, but i can't do it never with this gpu. So, im thinking to update my gpu with Nvidia gt730 or gt610 2gb. My question is that which one of the two above is best and will be great with my pc configuration.
I can upgrade some hardware components, if it's essential.

My pc config.:-
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo e7400 @2.80ghz
Total RAM: 6Gb ddr3
Current gpu: Nvidia gt 210 1gb ddr3
HDD: WD 1TB
Motherboard: Zebronics G41 LGA 775

Please help me out with this, Guys.
Thanks

If those are the only two cards you can afford, the GT 730 is better. There are multiple different models of the GT 730.

A low end with 1GB DDR3 VRAM and 128bit bus, 96 CUDA
A middle card with 1 or 2GB DDR3 with 64bit bus, 384 CUDA
A high end version (which isn't much better than the others) with 1 or 2GB DDR5, 64 bit bus, 384 CUDA

There are also a few variations out there with different clocks or more VRAM - don't be fooled by the versions that offer 4GB, the card itself isn't powerful enough to make use of all 4GB of VRAM.

In the end, I wouldn't recommend you upgrading anything in that computer. I would just save up for something better, if at all possible, but if you can't, then by all means shoot for a GT 730.

-gt 210
-"love playing heavy high resolution games"

LMAO thats if you play 2002 games and you consider hi res 720p

A 730 is already a huge improvement over a 210 so if uts cheap go for, it. The 610 performs the same as the 210.

Tho i wouldnt recommend neither of those. GTX 750 non ti are cheap enough and a huger upgrade over any of those. Or get a 1030 if you are short in PSU.

Here we go:
Nvidia made several GPU's lines.
The TESLA GPU's are super fast and made for servers mostly.
The QUADRO's GPU's are also for editing and 3d softwares and not MEANT for gaming.
the GT series are for basic home and little bit editing GPU's.
The GTX series are for only true gaming.

Many people are on low budget and buying the GT series card but that is WRONG!
Get a decent cheap used GTX card from Ebay or somewhere else and enjoy your gaming life.

Also the core 2 duo is not usable for 2018 games m8.
Sell your pc and get some decent core 2 quad or used i3's i5's. If that is possible.

Disagree. GT line still offers good gaming performance for people who dont want fancy graphics.
