Asus AM4 Motherboard doesn't support Ryzen 3-1300X?

I was going to order this board as part of a budget Ryzen build using the Ryzen 3 1300X.

But as I scanned the supported processors, I don't find the 1300X listed. What's with that do you suppose?
I do see the obscure business-oriented 1300 Pro listed, however. Any chance the 1300X won't be supported?

Solution
I'm 99.99% confifent that the B350 chipset will support the Summit Ridge 1300X, as Asus released a new BIOS on the 25/01/18 to support new CPU's.

It needs a new BIOS? I thought the 1300X was as old as the rest of the Ryzen 3 line? Oddly, the list includes the more obscure 1300 Pro which I never see anywhere for sale.

That's my thinking too. I contacted Asus and the "help" desk person said it was not supported. But I think all he/she did was check the same list I did. When I asked how it could not be supported when the identical 1200 was, he/she said "it just wasn't".

I don't know why they haven't mentioned it in the list of supported CPUs but it is definitely gonna work for any AM4 socket CPU (It might need some BIOS update may be if it's old). May be you could try dropping them a mail asking them what that is about? It should work though.

That's absurd. It's the same AM4 socket after all. All it might need must be some BIOS update. May be they haven't updated it's BIOS or haven't released any updates?
