Hello guys, recently i felt tempted and sold my old RX 580 4gb to the miners, the card served me quite well and i got a really good price selling it, the only problem now is that i can't find any replacement and i have to settle with either a gtx 1050ti for 220$ or this high-end version of the gtx 960 4gb with rgb and fancy cooling for around 210$ or gtx 1050 for 170$.
what's the better choice?

cheers

What would you really want if you could buy at reasonable prices?
Are you now running on integrated graphics or what?

Of your choices, I would opt for the GTX1050ti which is a more modern card and will perform similarly to the GTX960.

Honestly I'd WAIT a week if at all possible. There has been a recent surge in companies willing to give you MSRP prices on graphics cards if they know for sure you're a gamer and NOT a miner.

For example, Nvidia's own personal store sells all their GTX 1060s, 1070s, 1070 tis, 1080s, and 1080tis for regular MSRP prices.

thanks for your reply, unfortunately i live in Russia MSRP doesn't exist here, usually prices here are around 20% higher than MSRP, but prices skyrocketed during the past week, and gtx 1060's 70's 80's along as rx 580/570 are not even available in any tech store here!!! they are being sold only in the black market. and it's -35C degrees now, so things suck here :)

I'm going through the same, but you should know that 1050ti is better than 960. And since the prices of GPUs are Insanely high, I'm gonna buy myself a 1030 probably till it all comes down :(
