my question is im really not trying to spend alot but iwould my 1050ti do better with the intel or can i hang with this AMD unitl i feel like splurging on the newest intel processor

oh so you want help figuring out which cpu to go with on your second machine? in that case, go with the ryzen. the i5 7500k is a very similar architecture to your i3 and is on a dead platform (no further cpu upgrades planned for it)

your i3 6300 is a pretty balanced match for a GTX 1050Ti for gaming. If thats all your currently doing, I'd stick with it and save your money for a future platform overhaul as prices for graphics cards are currently astronomical due to the coin mining craze

I’m buying a second desktop

Just wanting to see my options as if I have to spend this money just wanting something better

My currrent setup us fine

Not trying to get the exact same thing
