Put in new CMOS battery now it’s wobbly and shows the same error

I’ve been trying to get past the setup but it won’t register the keyboard, so I replaced the CMOS battery because it had “161 bad CMOS battery” “163 date and time incorrect” “187 admin password and boot sequences have been cleared” now I replaced it but it’s wobbly. I tried booting up while holding the battery down with a screwdriver and now I don’t know what to do. Sauldering it is not an option. And ties aren’t an option so what do I do?

Are you sure you have right battery ? Maybe you can try to bend connectors a bit or add thin metal plate on top ?

A thin (as needed) preferably copper piece to take up the slack.
