Hi guys, I hope someone of you can clear somethings for me about parts compatibility.I am looking to buy a new pc in parts and to save few bucks i want to use my old GPU( Radeon 7770HD) and power supply(corsair vx 450w). The new ring should look like this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qM4mf8. I know the gpu i old but it works fine for me and my needs in playing game.So i was wondering if the power supply will be enough to power up the new ring or should i get a 550w power supply?

Solution
Yes, a 550w should be enough, but as i mentioned earlier, the quality and efficiency matters. Not all PSU have good internals. Refer to this list as for a rough idea about what you should be looking for... https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/
And by the time the price drops, Nvidia next gen Volta cards should be here in a couple of months.
While the wattage is adequate, but the quality of that unit is not very good. I would not trust my brand new hardware with that PSU, as sometimes they can junk other components on their way out.
On a sidenote, you should get the Cryorig H7 in place of the CM Hyper. Its $10 more but much better performer for the price.
Rest looks fine.

Thank you for the advise on the PSU and cooler . So is a 550W PSU enough for lets say an upgrade in the near future? I am planning to get a gtx 1060 or 1070 at some point when the price drops down.
