So I got the trial of bf1 and when I try to run it I got dx function error. I fixed that and now I cannot run the game on high or ultra. It always crashes. I have to play on medium to avoid crashes and getting constant 60 for while on bf4 I get 120fps on ultra.

My specs
I5 6400
8gb dual channel Corsair vengeance ddr4
650 watt Corsair PSU
Gtx 1050ti oc edition from zotac.
Asus b150 pro gaming

PS everything is up to date

You could try adding some more memory. If you don't mind spending the money, it can't hurt. Looks like the motherboard can hold 64GB (though I wouldn't buy that much, lol). There's no guarantee that it'll fix your issue, mind.

If you decide to add more memory, make sure you buy the exact same stick (or sticks) that are in your motherboard now. Or just buy a new kit altogether.

I can't comment about CPU usage, that's not my strong area, though the...

Might be crashing due to lack of memory. Recommended spec is 16GB memory. I remember Hardline crashing on me because I only had 8GB.

Maybe try checking memory usage while in game. If it's at a constant 100% that could be your issue.

So Its the ram then causing the crashing. I also noticed that the cpu is also running at 95-100%
