Keyboard repeating strokes too quickly (keyboard at fault)

I've had my keyboard for only 4 months and it just suddenly started repeating the keystrokes too fast. I would press it and then it would cause 2 or 3 more strokes. I just woke up and this was happening. Also, I cannot play some games because of how it causes multiple inputs and my character ends up stuttering and moving like that. I have tested this keyboard on other computers and my only guess is that it is a problem with the keyboard.

Do you eat or drink over the keyboard? Do you game to the point where keystrokes are fast, hard, violent (damaging)? Many current products will not stand up to or survive serious gaming use......

If the problem follows the keyboard then, as I understand your post, the keyboard may be defective.

Or the keyboard has experienced some failure after 4 months of use. Any warranty left?

Make and model keyboard?

Try cleaning the keyboard: many links to be found online. Just google. Read a few and decide what, if anything, you wish to try.

Generally, my recommendation is to simply unplug the keyboard, turn it upside down over some paper towels/cloth and gently but firmly tap the ends and sides with the heels of your hand. See how much crud falls out.

Plug the keyboard in and test/try it again.
