Currently building a PC inside a desk, got everything hooked up and running, first few days of install, had intermittent shutdowns, but PC stayed on, but screens were black, troubleshooted a but and it seemed a fresh windows install solved it.
Every so often, weeks apart at times, I have the same issue now, shutdowns with no errors etc. Screens go black but PC remains on and I am unable to shut down via power button, only unplugging the PSU shuts it down. This has happened today over 40 times in 2 hours.

It can happen at idle, or full usage. Doesn't matter.
Video attached to see a general basis of what's happening

I imagine you are using risers/ pcie x extenders...check them for flaws. For the love of god use selective startup.
How new is this build? Is your board grounded properly? If your boards power/ reset buttons aren't working , then your board has issues. You can rest a board on wood alone and it is safe. How is your mobo secured currently?
