Hello,
I was playing a game on my PC when all of a sudden it crashed and rebooted, and then wouldn't recognize the wifi card in the PCI-E slot. I opened the BIOS for my motherboard (MSI B350 Tomahawk) and the diagram showed that the slot was not reading that anything had been plugged in. I unplugged and plugged it back in a few times and still nothing. I was wondering if there was any way I could test or check if the problem is the wifi card or the motherboard itself?

Thanks

Solution
Start by reinstalling the wireless adapter drivers. Re-configure for your network.

Failing that borrow, if possible, another wireless adapter for testing purposes.

Try the current/possibly failed wifi card in another computer.

Key is to determine if the problem stays with your PC or follows the wireless adapter card.

Suggest trying a wired connection as well. Just to test and eliminate possibilities.....
