Recently I thought to upgrade my PC a bit so I got a new Transcend 4GB DDR3 1333MHz(code:JM1333KLH-4G) RAM and when I plugged it into my GIGABYTE GA-G41MT-S2 motherboard which already had Nanya 2GB RAM(https://www.amazon.com/Nanya-NT2GC64B88B0NF-CG-PC3-10600-DDR3-1333MHz-Unbuffered/dp/B006X7CUNE) it did not boot up, So tried plugging in just the 4GB and the CPU boots up with a black screen and with continuous short beeps from the motherboard. I've tried clearing the CMOS, changing the slots but nothing works, but when I boot up with just the 2GB it works completely fine.
My spec:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400
2GB Nanya 1333MHz(And a new 4GB which doesn't detect which is why I'm here)
AMD Radeon HD 5450
GIGABYTE GA-G41MT-S2(rev1.4)

Little back story:
I had an ECS G41T-M7 mobo with an Intel dual core E2180 and when I plugged in the Transcend 4GB with the Nanya 2GB it used to boot up in single channel and detect just the Nanya 2GB,but with just the 4GB it won't boot up at all but in CPUZ it used to show total 6GB running in dual channel here are the pics: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ce4iwh6xmfhqo9g/IMG-4853%20%282%29.jpg?dl=0 AND https://www.dropbox.com/s/if7k8x42azvpy27/IMG-4852%20%282%29.jpg?dl=0

Solution
Check the mobo requirements, i have an asrock G41 and they advice to use low density chips only, or if you are using 2 GB sticks you could use a high density with at least 8 cells. And some peoples machines that did not meet that requierement didnt post, so check that. Quite a pain in the ass to find a low density 4 GB stick tho.
May try to use the 2GB RAM, then boot into the BIOS to set the RAM timing to 9-9-9-27 from the 9-9-9-24. Saving and exit, shut down the PC, install the 4GB RAM, reboot the PC.

If you still have problem, then set the RAM speed to 1066mhz 9-9-9-24, because you need to oc the RAM to run 1333mhz, if the new RAM oc is unstable, the PC will not boot.
