r7 1700 for 229?

at a microcenter nearr me theres an rr7 1700 offerr for $229, i currently have a i5 3570k, how big of an upgrade will this be?

given that you also need new RAM and a new mobo, maybe 20% for c$500, probably not worth it.

the 7400 might be a close match to a 3570k.

i will be doing a lot of recording and streaming so i think a 1700 would be miels better

well theres also a mobo for 120 at microcenter that ill be picking up, and ram is the only killer here,

Because you stream I'd definitely get it. It's a huge upgrade for streaming.
