Dear all, I am trying to build a gaming PC and here is the shopping basket https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/6Kp4tJ, your opinions would be much appreciated.
My aim is to be playing top level games on high/highest settings.

Solution
More or less fine, but:
- you want faster memory (3000 or 3200), and for gaming you don't really need more then 16 GB (but of course you can get more if it makes you happy)
- PSU is bad quality, for such costly system you want Corsair RMx or Seasonic Focus Plus
- keyboard is much personal thing, but my guess is you want something better then that

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, the memory was the one thing I had already ordered. How much of a difference do you anticipate from having the slower memory?

Intel is not that much sensitive to RAM speed as Ryzen, so that's not very big deal. In some games there is exactly zero difference, but in others you may see few percent lower performance. But at some other, non gaming tasks, you would see serious performance difference.

Thanks, I've swapped the power supply and keyboard as per your recommendations. I guess i'll just live with the memory, although I will mostly be gaming so hopefully it won't matter too much.

I changed the PSU to a better model for £2 more.

Now, this is where it gets ugly. That 1080 is no less than £130 over MSRP. Cryptocurrency mining has prices seriously inflated. You just might, MIGHT find a better deal with a custom PC shop(online or off).
