hello, i have been having a big issue with my setting in BIOS, Thermal throtting. my cpu is stuck on 0,8 Ghz, if i have the Thermal throtting on. but my temps never goes over 60celsius.
i have an MSI Z170A Gaming M7 motherboard, is there any way to fix this problem without turning off the Thermal throtting ? i would like to have it on, because its there to protect the cpu from overheating.

Any time the system is idle or in a lower power state the CPU will dip down to 800mhz, my 4770K does the same thing. Considering it's just the BIOS 800mhz is fine, as long as the CPU increases once that extra performance is needed such as gaming then it's working perfectly fine.

the cpu is ALWAYS on 800mhz, all the time no matter the temp, at this time i have thermal throtting off, and it works fine, all the way up to 4,2Ghz, and at that it never goes over 65. ever. and 35celsius idle. just want the thing to work.

1 more solution is. i used Throttlestop, and off clicked the BD PROCHOT. that puts it back to 4.0GHZ, thats with thermal throtting on in BIOS.
so what should i do to fix the issue without having to use software all the time ?
