Samsung 850 EVO Raid Safety Concern

Hello, readers. I am new to PC building and especially new to the subject of Raid. My question is whether or not it would be entirely safe to put two Samsung 850 EVO SSD's into raid, one being 120 GB and the other being 500 GB, including my operating system. I have never seen anyone asking whether or not anyone would recommend including the installation of Windows in a raid setup.

My reason(s):
When I first built my PC (just before the new year), I figured that 120 GB would totally be enough for basic installations like my operating system and few programs & data. I was so, so wrong. Little did I know that almost every program I had found essential to using a computer did not easily enable users to provide a location on a separate drive so I could conserve what little available storage I had on my SSD. My SSD is now 100% used by programs and I am constantly getting notifications to free up storage (I actually got a notification while typing that sentence).

I bought a 500 GB Samsung 850 EVO tonight and it should arrive on January 31st. I was planning on putting my 120 GB and 500 GB drives into raid with Windows 10 being hosted on them, but I am concerned that this is unsafe. If you do agree that this would be much to risky, I can easily transfer all data to the 500 GB drive and clean up my 120 GB drive for other uses like maybe Steam games. If it is safe, then which raid should I consider using? (Sorry if you're losing brain cells over this, out of almost all things computers I did not decide to research what raid is because I hadn't thought I would ever have the need for it.)

Now, again, raid is one of the only things I didn't bother to learn about computer hardware, so almost any terms most people wouldn't know would be fine to speak to me with.

Thanks in advance,
Ryan.

EVGA GTX 1070 FTW
ASUS PRIME Z270-A
Samsung 850 EVO 120GB
WD Gold 4TB HDD (only up to 2TB, if someone has a solution that would be great, but it's not that big of a deal, I only wasted $100 I could have saved by buying the 2TB edition or even a quieter drive)
Corsair CX600 Watt 80+ Bronze Certified
Noctua 140mm rear case fan (obviously unnecessary information)
NZXT H440 Mid-Tower Case

Why can’t you use the free cloning software that comes with the Samsung drives? It works great.

You wouldn’t deactivate win 10. If you have to go that route (which you shouldn’t), just unplug old drive, install new one, install win 10 and it will self-activate.

Thank you. I also have another question if you're inclined enough to answer it.

I did receive my 500 GB SSD and I do want to just clone the files to it. Is there a way to do this WITHOUT third party programs, which my PC absolutely refuses to let me download. The only other option I see is to wipe all data after deactivating my Windows 10 software key and re-downloading Windows and activating; essentially starting over. This is also difficult for me, seeing as I can't find a way to do this without a third party program either.

Once again, thanks in advance,
Ryan.

I had no idea that they had a cloning software, I might use it. But, if it's through the disk that came with the drive, I do not have an optical drive because it would be incompatible with my case.

I did plan on trying this, but had no idea (okay, some idea) that I wouldn't need to deactivate the key. Thanks. Now all I need is a way to wipe the 120 GB drive.

The cloning software is on samsung’s site, not a disc.

You use samsungs secure erase from the Magician software to wipe old one (or just format it and keep installed as extra space).

Both are here:
