Ok. So i have a gigabyte ga p55 usb3l motherboard and i recently got 2 ram sticks ddr3 4gb 1600mhz each. The build of the computer isn't done yet, but i want to know if it works. I have read on a online manual for the board but i didn't saw 1600mhz at the menory part. I did see 1333 and some other variations, but not the 1600. So the question is, does it support 1600mhz?

Solution
It should:
Memory

4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory (Note 1)
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules
Support for non-ECC memory modules
Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules

(Go to GIGABYTE's website for the latest memory support list.)
