I bought a used MacBook Pro in pristine condition. I plan to use an old 500gb Intel SSD from a previous PC I was using. Can I just put the SSD in the MacBook Pro and use its initial MacOS utility to format the drive for Apple standard? I assume the MacBook would do this easily. For PCs it’s rather easy to format hard drives with fresh installs. This will be my first Apple fresh install, using a previous Windows SSD of course. I don’t know any other practical way of formatting the SSD to Mac standard. Thanks
