You are already on I5 4670k.
The only upgrade you can pick while maintaining your mobo is I7 4790k.
The difference is only, with I7 you get the HT, nothing else.
For some games, this is quite helpful but for most games, it will not make a huge difference.
Unless you are really playing those games e.g. BF1, the upgrade does not really worth it.

If not planning on OC, i7-4790k gives the highest stock clocks, the Xeon 1270v3/i7-4790 are cheaper varients. Either way, it's a lateral move for just about everything except the availability of upto 8threads vrs your current max of 4.
