Hi, i need help finding psu component for my old system im planning to use for a 24/7 home NAS. My system AMD Athlon ii x2 220 CPU has a max TDP of 65w, and coupled with a few NAS HDD's and other stuff like 8gb RAM, my system wont draw anything more than 100w, so i need a power supply as efficient as possible for that low load.

Here is what i've found so far with peoples reviews and stuff: https://www.ebuyer.com/185183-antec-earth-watts-380w-fully-wired-80-bronze-power-supply-ea-380d-green

BUT, the problem for me is thats still a high wattage and the 12v rail, therefore the efficiency of 20% load is around 73w. I think my system is not going to be running at 20% psu load 24/7 though, it will run around and below 10% psu load. I just want it to be efficient and last as long as possible

Should i just buy a 300w psu like the Be Quiet Pure Power 300w to help with the low load? Here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Be-Quiet-BN270-POWER-Cooling/dp/B01NCWXDUW/ref=sr_1_1

Thanks,

pico psu are extremely efficient, high 90s%. they are expensive. you have to buy directly if you want the pcie addin card power adapter bracket, or drill your own.
