My pc crashed (no BSOD just a black screen, nothing on it) im pretty confident it was because of overheating, when i try to turn it on, a light on the motherboard blinks for a split second and then goes off, if i hold the button to turn it on, the light will turn on and off repeatedly, but if i hold it too long, the light simply stops until i disconnect the wire on the back. What can be causing this problem? I think it can be the power supply, but i have no idea.

Take the power cord and all the other cords out of the pc turn the power supply switch to off and hold the power button for 60 seconds then try rebooting if this dosent work tell me I will tell you another way.
