I admit that might be a weird question but will old and nostalgic video games like for exemple Doom, Quake series, Serious Sam and the list can continue be able to run on newer GPU's such as 2nd series Geforce GTX from Nvidia and AMD Navi or what will be called when they appear?!

I've played the Portal games, Jade Empire, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005) & Jedi Academy without issues on a 1080 ti.

Quake 1&2, Serious Sam 1st and 2nd encounter, Unreal Tournament 99 and 2004 ... can play these games and many others in Windows 10 and RX 480 with zero issues.
