Solution
All except the SuperNOVA NEX unit. The EVGA B1, B3, BQ, W1, N1 and NEX Supernova units are not very good overall. For EVGA you want B2, G2, G2L, G3, P2, T2 or GQ models.

Or something from Seasonic or Corsair. The Seasonic G series, Focus series and Prime series are all good. Corsair TX, HX, RM and AX units are good.

We see many issues with those NEX units when paired with high end graphics cards.

It's hard to say yes when I see that $500 gpu selling for a grand currently. Sadly, there isn't a solution to that. But if price were no object, I'd change that PSU out for a FSP Hydro

Agree to Darkbreeze.

@ Darkbreeze, I thought you will attack the deepcool case :pfff:

Get a better psu and a better case, that case for this high end is just a disgrace. Are you in US? I will recommend coffee lake I5/I7 build due to upgrade path. Total budget? Has 1440p 144hz monitor?

Normally, I would, but considering the current cost of graphics cards and memory, something has to give somewhere. That Tesseract case is definitely not the worst out there and I've used it in the past on winning "Best builds" configurations, so I can't cry too much about it.

It is definitely a lower end budget case, but in spite of that it is not that bad for the price. I think most people don't realize how much it sucks to find out you have a poor quality case that is hard to assemble your build in, after the fact, so I usually try to steer them away from it and put a few more bucks into the case and PSU than they normally would, but with cards and memory being so expensive right now I feel a little forgiving, so until things change I might be a bit more lenient than normal.

How about EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 750W for the power supply?

Also I'm thinking I'll have to stick with the Deepcool case since everything else in the build is so expensive right now.
Thank you all for the feedback though! It's been a great help!

Thank you so much! This PSU looks really nice and saved me a ton off my total cost! I might be able to afford a better case now haha

Swapped out the Tesseract for NZXT - S340 Elite. Bit more expensive but with the money saved on PSU (thanks to darkbreeze) I can afford it! Thank you all again for your help!

Nice. I'm not too happy with NZXT right now, but their cases are well built. Unfortunately, their CAM software is not, and that's a problem because it's almost a requirement to run their coolers, Grid+ fan controllers and Hue+ lighting. Luckily there are some alternative utilities out there for controlling the Grid+ v2 units, but the CAM software is junk, far worse than the Corsair link software used to be so avoid that if possible.

Their cases though, not reason to avoid those. They do build nice quality cases with good features. Glad it worked out for you.
