I'm going to get right to the point. I bought an Xbox one controller, and it works great on my Xbox with no real issues other than a bit of drifting if I jam the stick down to hard. but that's not the issue. the issue I'm having is that when I plug it into my computer the slightest bump or tug away from the original position it sat in when I plugged it in will shut it off. I don't know what could be causing this. I have been meaning to pick up a blue tooth adapter but for now, I have to deal with a cord. I don't know what could be causing this. I also take out the batteries when I plug it in. should I leave them in or should I just wait till I can get the Bluetooth adapter? I don't know what to do. someone, please help.

the cable I use is fairly new so I think it should work fine. I'll look around and see if this happens with all cables. if so I'll probably just get an adapter.
