Hey, there. OS is Win 7.
The immediate message after turning on computer says: "1st CPU Fan Speed Error." I am able to get into BIOS Setup Utility by pressing F2. In the Advanced dialog box [0RPM] registers as the 1st CPU Fan Speed. I am not able to access that line through the tab key or shift tab, nor the second line that registers as
"2nd CPU Fan Speed," and then toggles between 5804 and 5822 RPM, among other numbers.
This Sony computer is over 10 years old.
Your ideas on how to proceed are much appreciated.
