I have one Windows 7 user who complains that her printers go offline everyday. They are networked printers, installed on a virtual server and shared from said server. SNMP is turned off on the server (which means that setting can't be altered on the user's end). The printers are not going to sleep. The printers are successfully connected to the network. There are several other people (including myself) also connected to these printers and we experience no interruption.
Everyday around noon for the last three days this user has had her networked printers go offline. Monday, I manually restarted the print spooler on her machine got them working again for the rest of the day. Tuesday, around noon, she informed me they were offline again. This time I changed print spooler to always restart on failure. This worked for the rest of Tuesday. I just received word that her printers are offline YET AGAIN and I am ready to tear what's left of my hair out.
Obviously a reboot brings them back and so does manually restarting spooler but these are not solutions.
Any advice would be appreciated
