Hi. I'm currently upgrading my rig.
Current features:
Intel core i7 7700
MSI H270 Gaming M3
EVGA GTX 1080 8 gbs
As for the RAM, right now running a cheap XPG ddr4 8 Gb 2400 mhz.
So, right now I'm running moat games at 4k and max graphic settings (except for battlefield 1 which requiered a bit tunning down to.run at 60 fps full time) but some times stuff gets laggy (like sound stoping when i switch programs and things like that).
I think the problem is the RAM, so I'm gonna save up for an upgrade and the choises I'm conaidering are down to:
Patriot Viper Elite DDR4 2400 Mhz 2x8 Gb CAS 15 - $170
G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 2400 Mhz 2x8 Gb CAS 15 - $220
Obviously, the Patriot's memories doesnt have RGB LEDs but G.Skill's do which ia cool, but a $50 USD difference ia a big deal for me as i don't live in USA and i gotta get then shipped to my country.
If the RGB LEDs wouldn't matter at all, woukd you guys still go for the G.Skill memories?
