Does the GTX 1050 work with this PC?

Does anyone know if this PC will work with this version of the GTX 1050? i.e size, power consumption

from the pictures, it looks like you are going to need a half height video card. something like THIS is going to be your best bet. Have you opened your pc to make sure you have a pci-e 16x slot?

what psu do you have? 300 is recommended for 1050.

No it won't that SFF won't fit a Full sized card or Mini, that PC is Small Form Factor and needs a LP = Low Profile Card.

PSU is proprietary can't be upgraded.

It does have a PCI x16 slot. Do you think I could get away with this - https://www.novatech.co.uk/products/msi-geforce-gtx-1050-2gb-gddr5-graphics-card/gtx10502gtlp.html - in terms of power consumption.

Conor, I dont know if your psu would be able to run it. you'd have to wait for one of the other guys to answer it. Personally, I wouldn't run that card with that psu

I wouldn't chance it with only a 240w.

It might be fine card only uses 75w , it's up to you and the card might not fit length wise.

I will get a 1030 then, or use 1050 only at stock setting.

A 1030 might work dependent on the BIOS of the pre-built being compatible.
