I've recently decided to give my veteran Gigabyte Radeon HD7870(the 2gb 256 bit Triple Fan one) the boot but the old heater has put a curse on me for my treason so currently Im still running it. >:[
I've bought a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050ti OC windforce 4gb https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N105TG1-GAMING-4GD#kf
But upon placing it(well seated,has no PSU connections,sucks off the Motherboard) it won't give any picture.The PC POSTs and starts running but the card just doesnt give picture to the monitor(Which is an old 22` with VGA cable,im using a Gigabyte VGA>DVI converter plug).
I've tried everything including placing it in differen PCI slots,still doesnt start,in one particular slot it doesnt even allow POST.
My motherboard is MSI NF980-G65,an old brick,but on black and white says its compatible,even has SLI support.
My PSU is a Silver rated 500W so thats not the problem.
Also I checked BIOS version and it says V1.4 which to me seems pretty old,that could be an issue.
Thats all I got right now.
