So I got a 960 evo 250gb today along with a ryzen 5 1600 and a new mobo and ram. So I got windows working but when i try to install windows via usb, it says there are no drivers, but if I try it on my laptop, there are no driver issues. Also when I install my drivers via the CD im provided with. Usually with my old mobo my ethernet worked fine, now with the new mobo, i plug it in and out and its not working. So not only can I not get a fresh copy of windows to work, I can't get the ethernet cable to work.

Solution
Windows 7 is not supported on the Ryzen platform. There are no drivers and you have to do workarounds to get things like USB or LAN to work. Windows 10 ones may work for basic things like Ethernet if you want to try them. Without drivers your LAN and other things are not going to work and Windows 7 doesn't have these built in.
