How to increase internet speed

So I have a little wifi stick that came with my computer when I first got it. I still use it to game and play game like arma and BF1 but get easily 150 ping (mostly EU servers). I also get about 1.9 GB/s download speed on steam but when I do that my internet slows down YouTube or Netflix is useless. I was wondering if there was a way without hard wiring my PC to increase my speed/connectivity.

most new mb for the last few years will have one ethernet port on the mb io sheild next to the sound cards/video card ports. you have to check in the bios thta the port is on and the drive is installed in windows. if it is all you need is a good cat 5e cable.
