Hey,
Looking to upgrade my system and wondering Which of these are the best value?

So I found these with good finance options. Not sure if they are worth it.

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-prime-z370-p-s1151...
+ 8gb DDR4 Ram for £530

or

https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/intenso-8gb-ddr4-2400mh...
https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/intel-core-i5-8600k-115...
https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/msi-intel-z270-gaming-p...
for £427

Or maybe you know of any replacements I could make?

First question your curent system ?

Anyway now best for bang is second hand i5/i7 4 gen +DDR3

DDR4 at this point are overpriced 3x

Example DDR4 Kingston - FURY 16GB normal price before £52 price now £158 * and memory production cost do not change only company earn more ;)

Current system is

Gigabyte z68-ds3
20gb ddr3
I5-2500k
780ti

Problem is I play a lot of cpu heavy closed alpha games that are not optimised.
So the cpu upgrade needs to be significant. A 10% upgrade won't cut it.

Apply OC to your CPU you can reach around 4,3- 4,5GHz if you have proper cooling

Or buy 3 gen CPU and apply OC :)

I've overclocked my CPU to 4.5 ghz, it cannot handle the games I play as they are un optimized. 3rd gen wont be significant enough of an upgrade.

The games I have access to are Closed Alpha and very unoptimised.
