Weak power phase design , not great for OC.

I would just go into the BIOS and increase the multiplier to bring it to 4.0GHz.
That speed should be a fairly safe overclock, just make sure you are checking your temps.

It was a low end budget Z77 motherboard when it was released. It was originally $95. Tweaktown got a decent overclock with an i7-3770K at 4.6Ghz. However, it required a higher voltage thus had higher temps than competing motherboards.

I cant find any mobo like that in my country...ill have to update to i5 8600k soon...but expensive change
