Gt 730, monitor won't start

So a friend of mine got a gt 730 and after he installed the gpu and powered up the pc, the monitor didn't want to start. There was no message like "no signal" or something like that. Just the pc staying black.
 
Solution
If that is a picture of your card, return it. There is no backplate attachment for it to connect to the case, it can rip out and damage the motherboard.

Check if the monitor is on. If it's on but there is no display, there is a disconnect between the gpu and monitor. check the cables then. If the monitor is totally off, it's a monitor issue.

If the cpu/board is on, but there is no display (after checking cables and if the monitor is on but without display), the card may be the culprit.

Well it was because of the connectors, as you can see in this photo they are smaller(not so many). Idk if it was my mistake but i thought if it's on pci express x16 it should fit

No that's not the gpu i gave it as an ex. The guy will sell it.
