I bought a cx750m to replace the PSU that went bad in my Asus store bought computer. The new PSU has several ports some labeled '6+2 PCI-E&4+4 CPU' and the other 'Peripherals & SATA'. My questions are 1. Where exactly on the PSU do I plug in the daisy chain connecting my DVD and two hard drives? 2. Do I need to use two separate SATA cables, one for DVD and the other for the hard drives? All connections for all three drives are the same. Thank you for helping.

Solution
Peripherals & SATA is for the OPTICAL and HDD , SSD drives < This and you can use one cable if it will reach the drives if not use 2.

PCIE is graphic cards , 4+4 as you know is CPU power.
