hi i just got my uncles old gaming rig and currently its running a fx-8150 and a gtx 660 ti. i want to be able to play some modern AAA titles like GTA V and fallout 4. My budget is around 250-300$. any suggestions?

The problem is that you not only have a dead platform that has no "good" upgrades, your GPU is sub-par, particularly for those 2 games:

Limited to normal textures on GTA V, & you won't be able to use Ultra settings for Fallout 4.

Which means a GPU upgrade...which currently also means your budget is blown out of the water.
