Here is my specs:
Ryzen 5 1600x
MSI B350 Krait Gaiming MoBo
Corsair Vengance 3200 16GB 2x8
Corsair RM750x PSU
ROG Strix GTX 1080
Patriot Hellfire 240GB M.2
Samsung Evo 250GB SSDx2 RAID0
Corsair H100i AIO Cooler
Here’s what happened. I’m trying to overclock my memory and I am a very beginner. I couldn’t get my speeds up any faster than 2667.
I decided to try disabling the “memory ‘try this’" option and manually input all of the timing values which should look like this: 16-18-18-36
Instead I entered 16-16-16-36.
Now when the computer restarts it will not display to the monitor, and will not load to bios. It was stuck rebooting over and over again. Now it will try to reboot several times (which I know happens when dialing in your settings) then after many attempts it acts like it’s running fine, ie: lights and fans level out as if at idle. However I still have no display or bios.
I’ve tried moving memory to the opposite dimms but I get the same result. As well as using only one stick at a time.
I really hope I can fix this as I already bricked my first MoBo with a failed bios flash It would suck having to get yet another.
