Hello,

Recently my PC started acting funny, from time to time, my display would lost the connection to GPU, and i could hear fans going 100% from the case, reset would fix it.
Then, i started having problem, that I couldn't turn the PC on, well, the power would go on, the LEDs on mobo would turn on, but not the fans (case, or cpu) and not the GPU. Reset or power buttons were not working, either, had to push the button on psu to turn it off, and try again, after few tries, it would boot normally, like nothing ever happened. The debug LEDs always show something different when it would boot tho.
Now, i frequenly encounter resets (my pc randomly resets), or is losing connection to gpu, and the fans stop spinning. Sometimes I still can hear the sound coming from my phones, sometimes I can't and I have to reset it to work. Seems to happen more often now. Also booting seem to take longer after that? Im not sure about that point.

IS that the CPU problem? Its Ryzen 5. Or is it the psu? It's some not so good brand I think. Please tell me that it is not GPU...

Thanks in advance.

Sooo...

After few days, I decided to clean my pc, reseat my CPU (I saw somewhere that that might help) and I noticed that my ATX connector was not pushed all the way in. Almost, just a tiny bit from all the way. So, i pushed it, and all my problems are gone. I don't know if that is coincidence, or could that possibly be the cause of all the problems I described?

I would replace the POWER Supply with a reliable make and model , it's very very low quality and most likely your issue.

Thanks, I will replace it for sure. Thanks for the links too.

If you don't mind me asking, can I rule out the other components? Since the case and cpu fans stop working when the GPU goes off can I rule it out? Or can GPU failing make other components fail too? How about the motherboard?

Yes, your system was not getting all the power that it needed.
