So it did a Windows update and when it Rebooted the screen that said please wait this may take a moment was flashing different shades of blue and green when I get to the login screen it looks likes like a broken TV screen and on the computer home screen everything looks pixely and kind of acid washed

Try re-plugging the display cable, a different display cable and a different display altogether if you happen to have one. If you get the same result in all three cases, then that leaves you with the GPU as the only remaining variable.
