Does link aggregation work if I have 2 pcs connected to router by using 1 cable?

So I have 1 NAS (My Cloud PR4100) connected to my router and from my router I have 1 ethernet cable going through the wall to my office area. Here I have 2 computers connected to the wall using an ethernet switch.

When I transfer a file from either pc to the NAS I get around 110 MB/s which confirms I am running a Gigabit network. The problem is when I try to transfer files from both PCs, the speed gets cut in half.

My NAS has 2 ethernet ports and I've read that if your router supports it, you can do link aggregation and plug your NAS to your router using 2 ports. By doing this you should keep the 110 MB/s transfer speeds even if you have 2 pcs transferring at the same time.

Will this still work if I have my 2 pcs connected to the router through a network switch (TP-Link TL-SG1005D) and through 1 wall cable to the router? Or will this cable limit the bandwith between the 2 pcs and the router?

Thanks

The single cable from your room to the router will prevent link aggregation from benefiting you. That link will have a total bandwidth of 1Gbit. Without a second cable going from a LAG aware switch to your LAG aware router, you are limited to gigabit.
