Hello,
I have this trouble that caused my desktop freeze. I'm having performance issues which were never there before, such as low fps and stutters in the same video game. But when i use sleep mode and my computer is awaken, all the performance issues have gone for a while. Then it displays the screen it should but everything is frozen during i play the game. Then i try to use MSI afterburner displays to see what was the problem. Then i realized my cpu1 temperature getting higher 1C per second then the computer freezes when gauge hits 122C. The cpu1 overheats if only i use sleep mode, awake it and open the game . I checked all fans, all seemed fine. Before i use sleep mode i got unstable fps range and low fps ingame. I dont think it's related with hdd, ram, gpu i replaced each of them. It continued after i formatted the computer. Also other cpu2,cpu3 and cpu4 temperatures looks similar before and after i use sleep mode.
Thanks for replying

Could be you have a faulty CPU but that is just my opinion. What is your CPU? Are your other cores hitting that 112c temp? either way you do not want any part of your cpu to hit that high. have you checked your cooler? try reapplying Thermal Paste? are you overclocking your CPU? if so what type of cooler are you using?

It's amd 955be with its stock cooler . Only cpu1 temperature increases so quickly and hits 122C. I dont overclock cpu or any parts of the computer. Could reapplying thermal paste be the solution because cpu2,cpu3,cpu4 temperatures looks similar before i use sleepmode and try to play the game.
