Hey all, so to start off let me present you with my current specs.
Specs:
cpu: intel i7 4790k
gpu: msi gtx 970 twin frozr
motherboard: gigabyte gaming 7
hdd: 1tb western digital caivar blue, 1tb western digital caviar black
sdd: samsung 850 EVO-Series 250gb 2.5”
ram: 16gb Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
cpu cooler: phantek phdc12

However, I have been noticing issues, sadly, with my gpu. It isn’t keeping up with games the way id like anymore, sadly. I stream a lot and I have noticed it regularly hits 70-100% usage. I have lightened the load as much as is possible and have managed to get my games to run somewhat smoothly while I stream. However, I still suffer from lag spikes constantly, even when I am not streaming which is troubling. So, because of this, I believe it may be time to upgrade to a gpu with a little more power. I am looking for a gtx 1080 (I know the market is terrible, but I know the deals around me aren’t terrible right now so I will at least try to consider getting one, if not, I may wait until the price stabilizes). However, I can’t find proper dimensions for each of the gpu’s nor a clear and concise answer for what would fit my needs best. My current gtx 970 is 11 inches, and it reaches the back of my computer with ease. However, I would say that in the opposite direction towards where my hdd is stored there is about 3-4 inches of room. I don’t know if this matters, since this is the first time I will be replacing my graphics card (I’ve been fascinated by computers for the past few years, and this is just another stepping stone for me to overcome). I can always provide a picture of the available room if necessary for reference, although it does seem as though 11 inches is the max I should be looking for in a gpu. Any help, suggestions or questions is welcome. Thanks guys!

Pretty much any of them except for the FE. EVGA has EXCELLENT customer service.I'd look to them or Asus. Gigabyte is pretty good as well. The Windforce or G1 Gaming( same card had a name change) are usually less expensive.

When you offer specs. it's best to also include the case's make and model. They offer max card length and max CPU cooler height.

Sorry I didn't think I had the model still on me. But after some research, I've found that case I have. It's the NZXT Phantom ATX Full-Tower Computer Case (White). Does it seem like I'm limited in card options with that?

It'll be fine.
