So just recently, like 1 out of every 3 alt tabs, my pc just locks up. It just recently started doing that. Like a few days ago. I can't do anything, I can still hear people and talk in discord but other then that I can't do anything without hard resetting my pc. I am running Windows 10 if that helps.

Not that it's any consolation, but Alt+Tabbing from full-screened games, usually DirectX or other heavy graphics API based applications has never been fully supported or endorsed. While the functionality has become less problematic over the years, problems resulting from that are generally not considered priority by most game companies.
If you need the functionality, you might see if you can play your game in borderless windowed mode. This tends to be more friendly when it comes to tasking out of games.
